Yesterday I took a day trip up to Laguna Salinas, 4,300m up in the Arequipa region. The lake is impressive in size, but I never find lakes photogenic. What was photogenic is the surrounding scenery, volcanos, mountains and plenty of llamas, vicunas and alpacas. The above photo is for once not one from a small camera, but from my medium format behemoth I’ve lugged around for months on end!
