Japan Day 11: Sedai to Nagoya

Slice of pizza, red bean doughnut and coffee breakfast. Why not? I’m up early and want to crack on towards the south, my host gives me another burble as I depart. I wander down to station and grab a coffee which is the same price of a chicken curry in the station.  Annoying.

Soon I’m blasting away on the Shinkansen towards Nagoya, only stopping briefly while it’s announced that the train suspended due to flying objects! It’s ok, just some debris in the high winds and in no time I’m in Nagoya, dumping my bag and heading to Nagoya castle. I wan’t to move again in the morning so I’m checking out the famous attraction now (¥500). It’s impressive, thought it’s a rebuild of the original that was bombed by the US airforce in 1945.

A brief stop for some katsu curry, rice and a coke (¥1,218) and my day is done. I want more sleep before the next leg of my journey.
