I’m three weeks away from a 31 day trip to Japan, the second time I’ll be visiting this country. By preparation I mean ensuing I have bundle of cash and a change of pants and socks. I’m not one to do massive planning when taking a trip, I like to land, find some food and check things out. My major decisions as a photographer are which cameras are coming along with me. A 35mm digital with a rangey telephoto will definitely be in the bag, and a digital MF camera with a couple of portable lenses. The quandary really is do I take my bricklike Bronica 120 film camera and an old Minolta 35mm. The purpose of this trip is to enjoy myself, and my enjoyment comes from photography. As well as food and beer.
